Easter Basket Ideas for Kids

I’ve been gathering items for Lawson and Sybil’s Easter baskets for the past month. Like all holidays, I am a fan of gifting mostly practical items that they need anyway. Below are an assortment of items they are getting in their baskets this year or have in the past.

Short set from Lake Pajamas (bought during their Black Friday sale)

Mini Scratch and Scribble (Lawson got a full size for Christmas and has had fun with it)

Twee sidewalk chalk from a small, female owned business in Philly (galaxy in a jar for Lawson and unicorn horn set for Sybil)

Native water shoes for summer splash pad play (navy and pink)

Pretty floral pajama short set

A hooded towel cover up, swim trunks or swim set

Pastel colored little steps

Tiger Tribe magic coloring set (unicorn for Sybil, outer space for Lawson, although I may save this for our next road trip)

Mushie flatware set for their lunchboxes

Ankle socks (after years of owning exclusively Gap socks, I have to admit Bombas are worth the price)

Table Topics for kids (another one I may save for our next road trip)

Birkenstock Arizona sandals (and these to match me)

Shorts for summer for Lawson and Sybil

Small LEGO set

Bunny or spring themed books like Here Comes Easter Cat, Click Clack Peep, Little Bunny Foo Foo, The Good Egg, Little Blue Truck’s Springtime

Since our stuffy bin is overflowing, I’ve cut myself off from adding another to their baskets. But if I did it would be a jellycat bunny.

I also include a few snacks in their baskets: mini madegood bars, bunny fruit snacks, and any excuse for pirate’s booty (Lawson and Sybil go crazy for it).

Not basket related, but I did purchase these bags (XL, monogrammed) for our next road trip based on a tip from The Fashion Magpie. Our previous packing situation was not working at all. I am going to use these and put all of their food, activities and extra clothing in them.
