Holiday Gift Guide: Gifts Under $50

Under $50 Gift Ideas

Welcome to the last of my gift guides for 2019! This guide is full of gifts under $50. In many cases, I put together two items that I thought would make a cute gift “package”. If you’re looking for gift ideas in the $25 range, just choose one!

These gift ideas cover a range of recipients. From coworkers to hostess gifts to your best girlfriends.

I’m proud of this gift guide because it includes so many of my go to items, like my everyday lip moisturizer, favorite book of 2019 and best cake cookbook.

I have more gift ideas in the widget below. Items I personally own are noted with an asterisk. You can find all gift guides here.

2019 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE: GIFTS UNDER $50

ONE // 5 Minute Journal + LePens*: My nightstand can be a journal graveyard, but that doesn’t stop me from looking for new ones. I like that this version focuses on gratitude. I’d add a few of my favorite pens. I linked to a set on Amazon, but I’d really find a store that carries them in singles and buy 3-4 fun colors.

TWO // Sleep Mask: As I’m writing this, both kiddos rotated peeing in their beds last night. Je Suis Tired, indeed.

THREE // Reusable Cup + Local Coffeeshop Gift Card: This reusable cup is collapsible, which makes it great for on the go. While I don’t drink coffee, I do love to escape to a local coffeeshop for an iced tea (and a chocolate chip cookie if I’m being honest!) This Yeti travel coffee mug is also a good option.

FOUR // Simple Cake* + Cake Stand: I mentioned it in this post, but I never thought I’d be a bake a cake kind of person. Simple Cake proved me wrong. You’ll also need a cake stand for presenting and storing all the cakes you make. Another option is to search Goodwill for a vintage cake stand.

FIVE // Wine + Wine Saver Set*: (Mostly) gone are the days when we finish a bottle of wine in one night. We have this wine saver set, which is helpful in keeping wine fresh when you need to re-cork it. Hitha mentioned Panther Creek Pinor Noir recently. I’m determined to find it in store locally. Side note: I never miss Hitha’s 5 smart reads. She’s a wealth of knowledge about all things business related too.

SIX // Wunderkin Clip* + Ilia Lipgloss*: I initially bought Wunderkin clips for Sybil and then found myself reaching for them. They now make adult sizes too! My hair is pretty fine so I can get away with wearing the kid sizes. The Ilia lipgloss in Peek a Boo looks good on everyone I’ve seen try it.

SEVEN // Cote Polish* + Collagen Gloves: Cote nail polish is the best I’ve ever used. It’s free of 10 major toxins included in many nail polishes and consistently lasts at least a week without chipping. #36 is my go to red. I’d pair it with some collagen gloves to keep hands soft in the winter season.

EIGHT // Simplified Planner*: While slightly over $50, I’ve used my Simplified Planner every day for 4 years.  It’s expensive for a planner, but I’ve tried others and always go back. I have the daily version, which I like for the long to do list space. I’ve heard they have a good Black Friday sale and will update this post with info on it.

NINE // Waleda Skin Food* + Kari Gran Lip Whip*: This pairing is a dry skin wonder. I’ve used Waleda Skin Food on my hands, face and feet. Anywhere that’s extra dry. Rarely does a gift guide go by without including my go to lip moisturizer. I use the peppermint at night and radiance shade during the day.

TEN // Halogen Tank* + Smartwool Socks*: For my cold weather friends, I wear this Halogen tank at least 3x a week. It’s a little extra layer of warmth. I haven’t worn a bodysuit in 20+ years, but it reminds me of the look/feeling while not having to worry about going to the bathroom. Last winter I powered through it and was cold most of the time. Not this year. I’m stocking up on Smartwool socks that are cute enough to wear with my ankle booties.

ELEVEN // Farmaesthetics Bath Oil: Luxurious bath oil and lotions are two items I want, but never splurge on for myself. Isn’t that what makes a great gift?! Something you want, but wouldn’t buy for yourself.

TWELVE // Foria Awaken* + The Idea of You*: I got a sample of Foria Awaken Natural Arousal oil at an event (the company is based in Boulder). While it didn’t seem wise to try it pre-surgery and recovery, I’m very intrigued. I’d add one of the best books I’ve read this year. I dedicated an entire post to my review of The Idea of You.

THIRTEEN // PopSocket* + iRoller*: I don’t know how I lived without a PopSocket on my phone. Sounds dramatic, but it’s true. It makes it so much easier to hold, especially when taking photos with one hand as I often do. I gifted Jim the iRoller screen cleaner in his stocking last year and liked it so much I bought one for myself. My screens are always disgustingly dirty and this little roller cleans them right up.

FOURTEEN // Notepad* + E.Frances Little Notes*: One of my favorite things to do is pop into a stationary store. When we were in San Diego this summer, I bought a “I like lists and I cannot lie” notepad and these cute, little notes. The little notes can be used as gift tags, sweet notes for a lunchbox or place cards. They come in a bunch of designs from holiday to a big red balloon. I got the surfboard version to remind me of the beach.

FIFTEEN // Reusable Straws* + Bees Wrap*: I’m trying to teach Lawson and Sybil to bring reusable straws with us when we go out for lunch. It is an easy switch to make. Every little change can have an impact. I’d add a pack of Bees Wrap, which eliminates the need for saran wrap.

I truly enjoy putting these gift guides together to share with you all. I earn a small commission on purchases you make through my blog links. The price is the same for you either way. It works whether you buy what I linked to or other things. It makes my heart swell every single time I see a purchase has been made (no, I can’t tell who purchased, only that a purchase was made from a link). Thank you for your support!
