Holiday Gift Guide: Splurge-Worthy Items for Me

2015-Gift-Guide_For-Me!

17 days until Christmas, yikes! Today’s holiday gift guide features 10 splurge-worthy items on my wish list. Don’t get me wrong, while I’d love to get any of these, I realize they’re investment pieces. But if you can’t wish for them during the holidays, when can you?! They are all classic, timeless pieces that fit my focus on fewer, better items.

one: the only item I actually own on this list is a Rails plaid shirt. What makes it so splurge-worthy is how soft it is. Literally the softest shirt I own.

two: the stuart weitzman 5050 over the knee boots are a major investment. I’ve been lusting after them for 3 years and wish I would have bought them so I could have been wearing them this entire time.

three: no matter what climate you live in, a nice pair of leather gloves should be a wardrobe essential. even if you only wear them a few times a year on special occasions, you’ll have them forever.

four: it’s no secret I’m obsessed with Clare V handbags. I also love leopard, which means the leopard sandrine makes my heart skip a beat every time I see it.

five: continuing with the leopard theme, the two penny blue vivian leopard topper is a dream come true. how great would it look worn with an all black uniform?!

six: believe it or not, I do have an outdoorsy side. the stio gannett peak half zip comes in 5 great colors (I’m partial to the tomato puree) and would be perfect for a night around the campfire or a late season hike.

seven: engrave a special name, date or coordinates on the gold bar necklace by vrai & pro and you’ll have a gift anyone would love. of course, I’d take one with my little guy’s name on it.

eight: I’m in need of a new signature scent and I think Tom Ford Noir could be it.

nine: I have a few less expensive blazers (think H&M) that do in a pinch, but I’d love to upgrade. The j crew regent blazer is fitted without being too tight. You can’t go wrong with a classic navy or camel.

ten: last, but not least, is the cuyana cashmere scarf. I don’t own anything cashmere. A scarf in the perfect shade of grey would be a great place to start. If I could get one item for Christmas this year, this would be it (along with the OTK boots from santa).

  1. A lot of these are on my wishlist, too! I bought those boots last winter when I found them on sale and they really have been a good investment, I wear them ALL the time. They’re a great staple!
