I’m back from a week in Palm Springs! While it wasn’t quite as relaxing as my last trip to Alt Summit (2 kids will do that), I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
It was fun to see everyone’s style too. A lot of people embraced the retro vibe of Palm Springs and wore vintage. Everyone from cold weather locations brought out their spring best. Meanwhile, I’m still rocking my winter boots. :)
My favorite outfit of all might just be the Madewell white jeans and shirt that my friend Bethany wore. When I saw her, I immediately asked all kinds of questions…where did you get those jeans? How about your shirt? Are they comfortable? How do they fit? Since I’m on a clothes buying freeze for another 7 days, I’m resisting the urge to run out and buy them both immediately.
But, I couldn’t wait to share them with you in case you’re looking for a cute pair of white distressed jeans for spring. I styled the jeans and shirt two different ways: with loafers and a pop of yellow and with sandals and a grey crossbody.
P.S. Bethany sold me on the jeans when she said they have a 9 1/2 inch rise and new technology called “magic pockets” that hold you in like a girdle. Sign this momma pooch up!
