Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother's-Day-Gift-Guide

It’s May and that means Mother’s Day is around the corner. In 8 days to be exact. In case you need any help, I put together a Mother’s Day gift guide! Whatever you do, please acknowledge the mothers in your life. It doesn’t have to be a big gift. I promise anything you do will be appreciated.

The Mother’s Day gift guide items are a mix of old favorites, including my Mother’s Day gift from last year, and a few things I’d love to get next Sunday morning.

My love for my Maya Brenner initial necklace is not a secret. I include it in almost every gift guide. I wear it with pride. If you want to splurge on a gift she’ll love forever and make her cry happy tears, give her this initial necklace.

I raved about the Summer Fridays Jet Lag face mask earlier this week. It’s my favorite skincare product right now and will make any tired mama look brighter.

I’m a sucker for a good mom graphic tee or sweatshirt. Go casual with this super mom tee or a little more chic with this Clare V x Every Mother Counts sweatshirt (a portion of every purchase goes to Every Mother Counts).

My very favorite candles are by Standard Wax. They are locally made in Phoenix and are the perfect combination of fragrant without being overwhelming. For Mother’s Day they have a mini candle bundle with four of their top selling candles.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to include a couple of books. Not only is Sweet Laurel a gorgeous cookbook that I’d love to have on my coffee table (if I had a coffee table), it includes recipes for whole food, grain-free desserts. Yum! I’ve talked about Only Love Today before as one of my little luxuries. Whatever the age of your kids, Only Love Today will help you focus on the joys of parenthood and is especially helpful if you’re in a rough stage.

White is my go to nail color for summer and Cote is my go to nail polish brand. It’s the cleanest, safest nail polish and most importantly, it works. My nails stay chip free for days. No. 2 is on my wish list. Throw in a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure and you’ve got yourself a lovely gift.

A nice pair of pajamas is always a good idea. Lake Pajamas are one of my personal favorites. I’m partial to the striped short and tank set. This version from J. Crew is another good option.

Personal gifts are always a hit. I’d love this modern, unique map of LA to commemorate our time here. There are 7 other cities and a national map too.

I use this Cuyana card case more than I ever imagined. Every day in fact. Mine is monogramed with MOM. Cheesy, maybe. Heartwarming, absolutely. And I get so many compliments on it!

If you really want to go all out, pick a piece of jewelry from David Yurman. This bracelet is one of my favorites.

For a full outfit gift, pair these wedge sandals with this shirt dress. Other ideas to make her day…fresh flowers, a handmade card, extra hugs and kisses.
