Spring Wish List

Spring Wish List

Happy first day of spring! Does it feel like spring where you are?

My bedtime routine includes checking the weather. Last night I was giddy to see we have mid and high 60s coming next week. Spring is really and truly on the way!

If you’ve been reading the past few months, you know I’ve been focused on keeping my spending to a minimum. Spring is always the time of year I go a little crazy with wants for the upcoming season. I’m trying to rein it in this year, but there are a few things on my spring wish list along with six items I’m particularly excited to pull out of my closet again!

Spring Wish List

ONE // Madewell Ex-Boyfriend Tee: The past few years I’ve purchased the Madewell Whisper Cotton tee in white, grey and black. They always get holes near the belly button and I’m tired of it. The Ex-Boyfriend tee is a heavier cotton. Fingers crossed I don’t get those dreaded holes.

TWO // Everlane Denim Jacket: I’m still on the hunt for the perfect denim jacket. This one gets great reviews and could be worth a try.

THREE // Frye Sneakers: I wear sneakers several times a week. I definitely don’t need to upgrade as my Adidas Stan Smith are still in good condition but…this Frye pair are so perfect I couldn’t help but include them in my wish list!

FOUR // Emerson Fry Charcoal Leopard Top: The #1 item on my spring wish list is this gorgeous leopard top. Since it’s currently sold out of most sizes, I’m waiting for a restock. As Emerson Fry is a small, family owned business, an item from their collection has been on my wish list for years.

FIVE // Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans: While I already own a pair of white denim, a standard skinny fit in my favorite brand is on my wish list this spring.

SIX // Madewell Central Drapey Shirt: It comes in six different colors with the classic black at the top of my list. I have this style in a striped version that I can’t wait to wear again when the weather warms up.

The 6 Items I’m Excited to Wear Again

SEVEN // Birkenstock Arizona Sandal: Oh how I’ve missed my Birkenstocks! When I got them to survive a summer in Arizona while 7 months pregnant, I had no idea they’d become my go to shoe of spring and summer. Highly recommend!

EIGHT // J. Crew Open-Front Sweater Blazer: I am super excited to switch out my winter jackets for this sweater blazer. I own it in black and grey. The grey is my favorite for layering over tees. I recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes from your normal.

NINE // Cole Haan Piper Mule: Clearly I’m ready to wear some different shoes! My most recent shoe purchase, it hasn’t been quite warm enough to bring out these mules on a regular basis. Leopard always elevates an otherwise basic outfit.

TEN // Madewell Floral Mix Top: My floral top is from last spring (worn here) and I couldn’t find a good, similar option to link for you. Although I’m generally not into florals (this is the only floral piece in my wardrobe), the colors and flowy fit are perfect for the season. I’ll keep you updated if I find anything similar!

ELEVEN // M Gemi Pastoso Loafers: I have this exact pair in a light grey and the Felize in this desert sand color. I never in a million years thought I’d love the desert sand colorway as much as I do. Next to the Birkenstock Arizona sandal, these are my favorite shoe. Worth every penny!

TWELVE // Frame Denim Shorts: I basically wear one pair of shorts as soon as the weather calls for it. Last year I tried on 15 pairs of shorts before settling on the Frame Le Cutoff. Not too tight, short but not obscene. The best of the best.
