Spring is a little over a week away. While I know we’ll get more snow, I am more than ready to trade my sweaters and boots for striped shirts and Birkenstock sandals. These are the 9 items currently on my spring wish list. Items marked with an asterisk are items I personally own and love.
Spring Wish List
ONE // Madewell Prairie Top*: I’m wearing this top as I type. I have one Madewell top from last fall with similar elastic at the end of the sleeves, but it’s almost too tight to be comfortable. Not this one. It’s soft and comfortable and looks cute with overalls and light, dark or black jeans.
TWO // Citizens of Humanity High-Rise Jeans*: I’ve been wearing these jeans non-stop the past two weeks since I bought them. They are the softest denim I own and make my butt look pretty great IIDSSM. For a less expensive option, these Everlane jeans have a similar wash and style.
THREE // Banana Republic Shirt Dress: I am on a never-ending quest for the perfect shirt dress. While I don’t shop at BR that often, I’ve had really good luck with their dresses, shoes and jackets. It also comes in black and a striped option.
FOUR // J. Crew Popover: I was immediately drawn to this top when I saw it in store. The prettiest shades of blue, I can imagine wearing it with white or light wash jeans.
FIVE // Birkenstock Arizona Sandals: How many Birkenstock sandals are too many? I could say I’m asking for a friend, but we all know that’s a lie. I saw another mom with my go to Birkenstocks in rose gold at a birthday party last weekend. She told me she also had a white pair and now I can’t get them out of my head.
SIX // J. Crew Lace Top: If I didn’t have a similar top from last year, I’d snatch this version up quickly. It also comes in a pretty pink or light yellow.
SEVEN // Madewell Ruffle-Neck Top: I buy 2-3 new spring and summer tops each year. Madewell has made some of my favorites. I haven’t seen this one in person yet, but it seems right up my alley with the ruffles, stripes and back keyhole.
EIGHT // Lake Pajamas Short Sleeve Set: I reach for my Lake Pajama pants every single night. Another pair is on my 2020 wish list and the dot version would be a nice variety from my usual stripes.
NINE // Saint James Breton Striped Shirt*: When I’m not wearing a sweater or sweatshirt, I prefer a striped long-sleeved shirt for these early spring days. My most worn is this Saint James shirt in a white/navy stripe. I’d like to add a black and white version too because I’d easily wear 3 striped shirts a week.
