One of my favorite holiday traditions is receiving cards from friends and family. It’s such fun to see what everyone was up to the past year; from kids growing up to vacation spots that leave me dreaming of sun and sandy beaches.
For this year, I chose to share that our little luv will be joining us next spring. Shutterfly has an awesome selection of holiday cards, but I was drawn to a black, white and gold theme and decided on their Glistening Greeting card. It was easy to upload the photo and choose different patterns for the back of the card, as well as customize all of the wording.
My handwriting is pretty terrible so using address labels is a must for me. The Beautifully Blessed address labels coordinated perfectly with our holiday cards. I didn’t realize you can even choose to have Shutterfly address and mail your holiday cards. I wish I had been organized enough to get our list together and use that option. I’m vowing to have it ready for next year!
A friend of mine has been throwing a holiday wrapping party for her friends for the past few years. Each person brings the gifts they want to wrap and a roll or two of wrapping paper. The rest of the supplies and some holiday treats and drinks are provided. I decided to follow her lead and host an afternoon of gift wrapping too! I wanted to stay with the same color theme I used for the holiday cards, so I searched Shutterfly’s festive party invitations until I found the Glowing Trees. I absolutely love them.
I’m having fun gathering inspiration and ideas for the party. My hope is it’s a relaxing afternoon for friends to gather and spend time together in the midst of a busy holiday season. Combining eating and drinking with accomplishing something on the to-do list will leave everyone in a good mood!
