Weekend Roundup

Portland Coast

Friday! It was a short week for us after getting back from Portland on Tuesday, but somehow it managed to feel extra long anyway. Lawson caught a bug on the trip. We spent yesterday with lots of snuggles and a few glimpses of his normal self. Fingers crossed he kicks it quickly. I hate to see him sick even though I love the snuggles!

Although I forget I’m pregnant at times, I’m starting to feel the urge to nest. We’ve got some rearranging to make room for another baby, including selling a queen bed if you know anyone interested! I’m ready for spring cleaning and taking a close look at our belongings selling or donating anything we don’t need or use.

Cheers to a productive and fabulous weekend to you all!

WEARING

A couple of weeks ago I shared my love of Cosabella pajamas. They are definitely on the pricier side. I recently found a much more affordable pair of Gillian & O’Malley pjs at Target. I bought them in a larger size to wear in the hospital post-delivery. Since they fit my expanding body, I’ve also been wearing them now. I can vouch for their softness and the price is definitely right!

LISTENING

After reading Hitha’s post on her morning routine, I was inspired to download the Hamilton soundtrack. We just started listening to it yesterday, but it’s so good. We both found ourselves dancing around with Lawson! I never got into a routine of listening to music with Lawson. To watch him experience it now is such fun. He’s intrigued where the sounds are coming from!

PINNING

Lately I’ve been pinning all sorts of summer styles. Pinterest always serves as inspiration and now more than ever I’m living vicariously through the summer styles since I won’t be wearing the majority of them. It should come as no surprise that shopping is one of my favorite activities, but it’s just not the same when you’re pregnant. Only 15 more weeks to go!

I spend a ton of time on Pinterest as well! I love finding new styles, and it definitely helps curb my shopping habit by helping me to think of new outfits already in my closet. Hope Lawson feels better soon!
