Happy Friday! For those of you stuck in the cold this weekend, I’m sorry to report it feels like spring in Phoenix. Although with spring, comes allergies and mine have been terrible. I guess there’s a downside to everything.
I’m looking forward to lunch with a friend and a fun girl’s night out event at Citrine. It’s from 6-8pm and free so if you’re local to Phoenix, come on out! Lawson has a swim lesson on Saturday, but otherwise the rest of the weekend will be pretty relaxed. Oops, I almost forgot about Valentine’s Day on Sunday. Clearly no big plans to mark the day other than lots of family time!
BUYING
After reading rave review after review, I finally invested in my first pair of M.Gemi flats. I went with the Felize in natural as shown in the photo above. Slipping them on honestly feels like butter. The leather is the softest of any shoe I’ve ever owned. I haven’t worn them out of the house yet, but if the other reviews I read were right, they’ll be comfortable with first wear. (I also love the cachi ankle boots.) I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect striped shirt. I saw this crewneck tee in red and white stripes at Madewell earlier this week and think it could be in the running.
