It’s no secret that I love my neutrals. They are just so versatile! Today’s wardrobe essential is a grey sweater. Alone it may seem a little boring, but there are ways to dress it up! The J. Crew Tippi sweater is my absolute favorite. It comes in a ton of colors (31 to be exact), including four different shades of grey. I own this sweater in five different colors and can’t wait to wear them again next winter! I consider both black and grey sweaters to be wardrobe essentials. I choose the Heather Graphite color here as it’s dark enough you can wear a shirt underneath it, which is one of my favorite ways to style a sweater (see how I wore my black one last year here).

For a casual office environment, I’d wear it with a pair of black skinny ankle pants, a statement necklace and black ankle boots. To take it up a notch, add a pencil skirt in a pop of pink (I also love it with navy) and nude pumps. And for the weekend or running errands around town, pair it with a blue gingham shirt (to keep from looking bulky make sure it’s fitted and thin), skinny jeans and wedge booties. For even a more casual look, switch out the skinny jeans for distressed denim.
