I thought it might be fun to share everything I bought in June. While the list includes a few things for me, there are also a few items for the kids, our home, and even a pair of shorts for Jim.
My love of Vuori joggers runs deep (I own 3 pairs). They recently opened a retail location nearby and I stopped in to check out their other items in person. This hoodie is made of the same material as their joggers so it’s super soft, cozy and lightweight. I plan to wear it for lounging and running in the colder months.
This is a repeat purchase. These wash cloths are a great size for washing my face at night and since they are made of bamboo, they are really soft. They are also a dark enough shade of grey that I don’t worry about staining them with the occasional charcoal mask (they do stain with a charcoal mask, but it’s not too bad).
Sybil LOVES putting on a bandaid for every little scrape (real or imagined). These not only look cute, but work really well. I now want their first aid kit to keep in my car.
While adjusting to two cars in the garage again, Sybil’s scooter was run over. Since Lawson and Sybil scooter around the neighborhood almost daily, we replaced it immediately.
I now own 3 of these sweater blazers in grey, black and camel. I found myself wearing them a lot last winter and spring and wanted to add the camel to my collection. I bought all of them on sale – most around $50. I sized down one from my usual J. Crew size.
We celebrated the first day of summer with a few small gifts for Lawson and Sybil, including these initial baseball hats in the blue (Lawson) and pink (Sybil).
A repeat purchase of my go to body lotion. It’s the best for dry skin.
Another “first day of summer” gift was a pair of red, white and blue short pajamas. Hanna Andersson pajamas have become our favorite in the past year. Since they make larger sizes, Lawson and Sybil can still match when they want to.
Over the past year, impulse purchases have been pretty non-existent since I rarely went to the mall or other random shopping. When I had extra time before my haircut last week, I stopped at a local boutique in downtown Denver to browse. I had been looking for a more summery bag and grabbed the Clare V sandy tote when I saw it on sale. I had a little buyer’s remorse that quickly went away when I realized it was quite versatile. I’ve used it every day since.
Vuori Ponto Short (Men’s)
Jim had mentioned wanting a pair of lightweight shorts for summer. He was hesitant about the material, but quickly changed his mind as soon as he tried them on. Can you tell I’m a big Vuori fan??!
The nightlight in our hallway was so bright that it bothered me at night. I had read about this version that wasn’t a bright white and added it to my Amazon order. It is much better! I ordered the two pack and put the other one in our travel case.
After adding a few midi dresses to my closet this summer, I mixed it up with a mini. It is pretty short (it is mini after all), but I love it with a pair of flat sandals and my summery tote.
